Design

Maritime Hydraulic and MHD Offshore have taken an advanced approach on the development Design and Drafting capabilities by implementing state of the art solutions provided by Autodesk.

We can produce 2 dimensional Assembly drawings, Hydraulic and Electrical schematics, sequence drawings, part drawings, outline drawings, scope of supply drawings, and detail drawings per ANSI or Metric standard specifications. Our design staff are trained in a variety of other 3d design softwares and are able to convert any existing design files you may have to incorprate in our development.

Scaled Rapid Prototyping

Maritime Hydraulic has the capability to build rapid prototypes by 3D printing concepts. The ability to create scaled down replica’s of the final part prior to working on expensive long lead time materials has tremendous upside.

Often issues, improvements and ideas are better clarified, discussed and resolved with a real world object as opposed to drawings or computer models.

Maritime Hydraulic understands the value of that, and has made 3D printing a integral part of our development process with all complex designs.

Commissioning

Bringing your newly manufactured equipment into working condition is key for the success of your project. We have resourceful technicians, and partner with best-in-class companies, for commissioning anything we manufacture in any environment.

When components manufactured by Maritime Hydraulic are to be integrated into larger systems, we understand that co-operation with other contractors is vital to the smooth integration of all parts.

Refurbishment

We handle refurbishment with the same attention to detail as we do with new equipment. Our refurbishment services for hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic power units include:
  1. Replacement of seals
  2. Recoating of arms
  3. Hone Bore to restore original finish
  4. New seals for cylinder / air over oil accumulators
  5. Apply corrosion resistance metal plating / laser cladding to relevant parts and components
  6. Replacing all fasteners with new specialty fasteners
  7. Surface treatment / coating for relevant parts and components
  8. Replace / upgrade all tubing and piping
Retaining a quote is the first and mandatory step to begin a refurbishment project. Depending on the work quoted and the condition of the component once dis-assembled, additional work may be required. Maritime Hydraulic always contacts clients for approval before doing any work that will add cost to their quoted price. We also will repair and retrofit components from other manufacturers. We have a special program in place for retrofitting Shaffer 80 k Drilling Tensioners and Shaffer 16 k Pod Line Tensioners for the oil and gas industry.

Repair

Maritime Hydraulic repairs hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic power units and controls so that your equipment can be returned to full function.

We have the training, tools, and equipment to repair your equipment promptly and professionaly. Once repaired, your hydraulic equipment can be tested in-house at our facility to ensure its performance is up to your standards.
